i must say i have finally managed to pin down the reasons why my mother and i cannot get along. - thanks to a conversation with the real margo. it's not that i long for a different relationship with her. all's fine. but at least it's comforting to know why.
1. she's conservative: this is something i have noticed only recently and i always thought she was the opposite of conservative - at least during my teens.
2. she acts like a 14-15 year old: and a conservative teenager is not very easy to handle.
3. she doesn't take me as an adult: this is the worst part. she doesn't only have a patial view of herself, but includes me in it too!
